The main lodge is a 7,200 sq. ft., two-level structure overlooking a beautiful 35-acre, spring-fed lake. Upstairs consists of a large, open venue that can accommodate up to 30 tables, seating over 200 veterans and guests, a large industrial kitchen and serving area, as well as a speaking venue with a pull-down screen and microphone. Large sliding glass doors open out to an expansive deck that can accommodate up to 60 people. Leaving the deck, you can follow the exterior staircase down to another lower patio area that can seat an additional 40 people. This lower area leads to the EZ Dock kayak launch and boat dock. This is also the area where our kayaks launch and our boats dock when we take veterans out to fish. The lower level of the lodge can host up to 15 people overnight in its five themed bedrooms, each with its own sliding glass door that leads to a balcony that overlooks the 35-acre lake. Rollaway beds and a sofa sleeper are often used in large events. The commons area downstairs is a living area where the overnight guests can watch TV or enjoy a conversation. The downstairs has four disabled accessible bathrooms with roll-in showers, as well as two double-stack washer and dryer sets to accommodate laundry services.
