  • Offering refuge to those battling PTSD, disabilities, illness, or trauma
  • Providing resources and emotional care for families supporting their loved ones with disabilities
  • Extending ministry support to first responders facing high-stress service roles

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength." – Isaiah 40:31

Mental Health Support for Veterans

Support

Veterans often face unique challenges such as post-traumatic stress, depression, and anxiety. Peterson Outdoors Ministries walks alongside veterans by fostering community and faith-centered support that eases the burden of mental health struggles.
We provide:

  • Encouragement for veterans experiencing PTSD and other trauma
  • Support for military families navigating challenges together
  • Resources and connections to trusted crisis care services

By focusing on mental health support for veterans, we strive to help military heroes reclaim
renewal and resilience in their daily lives.

Benevolence

Benevolence Fund: Supporting Veterans and Families

To meet the increasing need for veteran mental health support and family care, we have established a benevolence fund. This fund provides direct help to:

  • Veterans in need of mental health support
  • Military and first responder families experiencing financial crisis or caregiving stress

You can donate in two ways:

  • General Fund Giving: Distributed at the discretion of the POM Board.
  • Designated Giving: Directly benefit a specific family in urgent need.

Use the memo line in our giving app to designate “benevolence” or note a specific recipient.

Get Involved: Make a Difference

Every gift, act of service, or donation helps us extend mental health support for veterans and their families. Even small contributions make a lasting impact. Consider blessing our Lodge of Hope by purchasing from our wishlist.
